Santa brought Holly to us for
Christmas in 2006. Thus the name Holly. She is a Red Bone hound/
Blue Heeler cross. Holly is very smart and was easily trained. She
learns tricks very fast and once learned, it is NEVER forgotten! Her
favorite pastimes are Frisbee and football. She is a creature of habit
and likes her routine. She loves to go for car rides, mostly because
she doesn’t like to be alone!
We’d like to thank Brian, Patty, Cory, Hannah, & Tyler Patrick for submitting the beautiful Valentine “Holly” for our February Pet of the Month!! |

Hi, my name is Aggie. My birthday
was sometime in Sept of 2011. I was found in front of the Ag Museum in
Fort Benton. My family adopted me from the Florence Dedman Animal
Shelter. I had been home for 1 week, when I had to have a major
surgery! My spleen, liver, gallbladder and some of my intestines were
up in my chest cavity!! It is a miracle that I am here today to bring
joy to my family! Thank you Skyline Vet Clinic!!I love to run and play
with my Angry Bird stuffed toy. I also enjoy attacking Moto, who is a 1
yr. old cat who also lives here.
Thank you to Brad, Stormi, Maci, and Kathy Myers for submitting “Aggie”. What a great way to start off the new year with your “miracle” kitten! Happy New Year to all our wonderful clients and their pets. |

Hi! I’m Josie Robertson, a 9
mo. old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I was born in the Sweet Grass Hills, of
northern Montana, at Certain Creek Corgis, but now reside at a farm
just north of Great Falls. I live here on the farm with Barney Google,
a Pom/Peke mix, who likes to think he’s a cow dog, when in fact,
he’s just a glorified lap dog. I’m the true herding dog
around here, and I will try to corral just about anything I can. Cats,
birds, cows, you name it. I haven’t quite mastered the stay and
come here commands, even after 7 weeks of classes, but I’m told
we’re going to keep practicing, because agility classes start in
January!! I’m not sure what that is, but I’m sure
I’ll excel at it nonetheless.
I have lots of toys, which I love, especially Barney’s stuffed duck, but my favorite thing is retrieving tennis balls, and playing with my other friends, Jasper the retriever, and Pugs, Nemo and Dewey. Next to playing with other dogs, I just LOVE to ride in my Mom’s truck. I get the whole back seat by myself, because Barney is always riding “shotgun”, and I’m not allowed up front. Thanks Skyline Clinic, home to my best friend, “Ralphie Seekins” for having me your December 2011 Pet of the Month!! |

Hi my name is Ruby, a miracle
kitten, who was found and given to Skyline Clinic at about 2 days old,
and adopted by Janell who bottle fed me and taught me everything I
know! I love my Mom first, but I also LOVE my best friend Remington. I
have TONS of favorite things to do: playing with my toys, climbing
curtains, running through my dome house, and wrestling with my best
friend!! I could do that forever.
Oh, I also love to bite, especially people’s fingers, but I do love to cuddle, especially with my Mom. Thanks to Skyline for voting me Pet of the Month… |

Hi, my name is Hazel and I am a five
pound, 3 1/2 yr old Chihuahua. I love being outside and going on long
hikes. I would rather be outside than inside. I know many
tricks and can do Michael Jackson's "Moonwalk". I love people and
am bilingual in English and Spanish. I love to play fetch.
I am scared of feathers. My favorite toy is a stuffed bear that Grandma
Barbara and Papa Arnie sent me for Christmas. My best friend is a
3 yr old pug named Chula. We get along great and love playing
outside together. My favorite treat is sweet potato.
Thank you Grafts’ for submitting Hazel for our Pet of the Month!! |

Colin is a 1998 model, entering his
14th year. His favorite job is waking mom up at sunrise everyday,
year without end.
Colin loves to ride in the truck, especially if he is going to “Doggie Spa” for a fresh groomed coat. He hates to get his paws wet or dirty in the mud or snow; and, will sit and lift each one for mom to wipe off when he comes back inside. Colin’s talents are rolling over, shaking hands, and checking for tiny morsels and small tidbits that might escape the table. His favorite treats are plain popcorn, green beans, and broccoli. Colin’s favorite place to sleep is on the soft bear skin rug. Because he is such a neat-nik, he is not big on normal day routines, but prefers to peruse the house and make sure everything is in its place, smelling just right. Many thanks to Linda and Dave Graft for submitting “Colin” for our September Pet of the Month!!! |

Our coooool dog for the
“hot” month of August is Stella Smith, who lives with our
very own veterinary technician Pat.
Born September 8, 2010, Stella is a Treeing Walker Coon Hound, who’s favorite sport is just being a puppy. Sleeping is only one of her unique traits. She finds much humor in teasing the smaller dogs that live with her, and being most places where she is not supposed to be….. Like on the couch!!!! She shares her house with Cockers, Chinese Cresteds, Labradors, and numerous kitty kats! Thanks Smith Family for sharing this “at rest” photo of Stella. |

Mongoose “ Goose” Holland is about 7 yr. old. Goose showed up one night at the ranch we were living at in Harlowton, Mt. Goose and his sister Rikki were almost full grown when they found us, but goose chose not to show himself until one night when I went out to the corrals to check on the horses.I felt something rub against my leg and in the dark, looked down and thought he was a skunk and jumped about 2 feet. Anyway, it was love at first sight and he became part of the family, moving up with us to Fort Shaw in 2005. Goose is a handsome, big boy weighing in at about 14.4 lbs. Dave always says, “if he was a bass, he’d be a keeper”. He has always been a lover not a fighter! In August of 2009, we had a new truck that unbeknownst to us had an open antifreeze overspill valve and Goose found a couple drops. It almost cost him his life and it was one of the most challenging and scary 72 hours of our lives as we all tried to pull him through it. (thanks to the Skyline Vet Clinic) Goose did pull through though and we are thankful every day that we are still blessed with a great kitty like Goose. Goose loves to be in the hay barn and loves to sun himself. When we are outside he follows us everywhere. Goose spends every night cuddling on the bed now and looks forward to some good spring and summer mousing! |

Hi!! My name is Keira. I live with
two humans, and they call themselves Mom and Dad! When I was little,
these two humans came to look at me and my brothers and sisters. They
picked me up and I went to live with them. About a month later, they
left and when they came back my Grrrnana had brought home my older
sister! I wasn’t real happy at first, but after a while I decided
it was fun to have her here. We played all the time!
When we got older, the whole family took us to a place with lots of trees and a great big swimming pool! They called this camping, because I can swim and dig in the dirt and sometimes even get a thing called a HOTDOG! I don’t like the name much, but they sure taste good! I can also remember my sister Aria and I getting in trouble for stealing these white spongy things called marshmallows!!! They were really yummy, but they felt strange in my mouth and made my hair all sticky. When I was 3 months old, we moved to a house with a big back yard. I love to play in the sandbox and chase birds! Two months after we moved in, my Mom came home with another dog! It was my older sister. I was NOT very happy, because I didn’t have Mom and Dad all to myself. I had to share!!! My sister Sasha and I had a lot of arguments because of this, but I’m a little over a year old now, and we get along fine! We play all the time now. I love my family, and they all love me!!!! Thank you to Trisha Dailing for submitting Keira for our June Pet of the Month! |

We’d like to thank Tim for submitting Kelly for Pet of the Month. |

My little boy was born 8-1-2010. His
name is Chazz. He was named by my good friend Bobby Devoe. He has a
mind of his own, but is a very sweet little man. He is a little rascal,
but I love him dearly! |

My name is Cairo. I am an Abyssinian,
descended from a long line of Egyptian cats. I rule the household with
my demands for excellent food, treats and grooming with the slicker
brush. In my younger days, I was quite an adventurer, climbing very high
into the cottonwood trees at my home. Now that I am 18, I don’t
jump and climb as well, but I am still handsome and regal. I tolerate
the commoners who share my kingdom: Bailey, an orange and white tabby
twice my weight who fears me, and Ringo, the annoying black kitten, who
does not yet respect my power. I take pity on them, as they both began
their lives as homeless creatures, wandering the wilderness.
Enlightened as I am, I believe that all must be done to help the
commoners, especially the homeless who need warm beds, good meals and
caring companions. |

Foxy Ward turned eight years old in
late January 2011. He was adopted by his current parents, Ron and
Holly Ward, at the age of eight weeks. He was from a litter of
two. He and his sister were much the same color. He was
raised with a German Shorthair Pointer called Sly. Sly is two
weeks younger than Foxy and a lot larger. Foxy is and always has
been the boss. Though tiny, Foxy is mighty and fears
nothing. He loves most people and when company arrives, he is so
excited to welcome one and all. |

This is Quint, he is 13 years old
and his side kick is Quirt, aka Squirt, who is soon to be 2 years old.
They are Boston Terriers who love jerky sticks, fun, and people. The boys love to go for rides in the truck, play tug of war with a toy and are master game players. While Quint takes it easy chewing on a favorite hoof or bone, little Spike races around the house dragging his blanket or scattering his food so he can chase it down, attack and eat it. After all of this, they both enjoy a cozy afternoon nap with Dad in the big chair. After a hard day of eating, napping and playing they settle down and spread out over 80% of a comfy queen size bed for the night. Thank you Toni Ashbough and Ron Grossman for the August Pets of the Month!!! |

Happy 4th of July. My name is T.J.
and my family is Bob & Rose Latham. I am about 19 years old. I came
to live with my family when I was 1 year old after my old family moved
and left me behind. My Momma and Daddy love me very much.
About a year ago, I was diagnosed with kidney failure. My Momma brings me to Skyline Vet once a week for fluids. I get lots of gentle care and weekly pep talks from all my girlfriends (the clinic techs). With all the love and care I get from everyone, I will keep on going strong! I want to thank Momma and Daddy, my brothers and sister, Dr. Grant, and all the staff at the Skyline Veterinary Clinic. Sincerely, T.J. Latham |

I adopted Pebbles from Homeward
Bound Cats on October 23, 2009. I also adopted her sister Casper,
but Casper left us on January 1. They joined Cassie Terry
Sammons. Pebbles was born in May 2009 in Las Vegas and Cassie was born
July 1, 2002 in Bozeman Montana.
Pebbles and her sister Casper spent each night via for position on my chest. I woke up on Oct 30 to a sore breast and after a self exam found a large lump in my breast. I am so grateful I adopted these kitties!! I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer on December 14. I am now through my first week of chemo. Pebbles, Cassie and I have had many naps together this week and I am sure this will continue. Pebbles likes to sleep between my legs down at my feet. Cassie prefers to cuddle up next to my back or stomach. Pebbles moves with the flow, but Cassie gets mad if I want to change positions. Here are two truly gifted cats, and we are proud to feature them as “Pets” of the Month! Thank you to Gail Sammons |

This is Kayla. She has been with us,
Bob and Shirley Hall, since Shirley retired. She has been very
enjoyable to us!
At 17 years young, she is still very social and likes to go with Bob wherever he is going. Poodles are generally intelligent by their nature, and Kayla is no exception. Getting groomed at Kay’s is a favorite thing, as she always get’s the royal treatment! We think that she thinks she is the “Grand Matriarch” around our house and enjoys being the only “child”. Her nickname is “Sweet Pea”, and she loves to go places, especially to the cabin in the summer. Rides on the atv are at the top of her agenda. Her favorite veterinarian is Dr. Kirk Seekins. He has been so insightful as to the issues Kayla has been dealing with as she ages. She is very special to us, and we thank you for picking her to be “April Pet of the Month”. |

"Tank" Lippert “Tank” Lippert, who is owned and taken care of by me, Courtney Lippert, is a very colorful purple and red Beta fish that likes to swim around his fish bowl 24/7, which is a good thing, since he is a fish! His 2nd favorite thing to do is eat! I got Tank in the summer of 2009, as a gift from my Aunt Sarah. Thank you to Courtney for sharing Tank! |

Tinkerbelle Our February sweetheart is the adorable
“Tinkerbelle” Walters. Tinkerbelle was born in October of
2007 to Patrick and Vanda Walters. She is a good watch dog when needed,
but still loves people. Fun time is spent running around the yard,
playing with her toys. She also shares her home with her feline
friends: Anna Belle, the domestic shorthair, and Dusty the Siamese. Thank you to Patrick and Vanda for such a pretty
