Adoption Success Stories

Belle

Adoption Success Story!! Here you see "Belle", who literally arrived on the doorstep of the clinic in a cardboard box, with a broken foot. Although she was injured, Belle still would have been able to get out of the box and run away, but she remained inside until someone arrived at the clinic to open for business. She seemed to know, that this was the best place to be! Not one to run short of luck, who would come along and provide an excellent loving home but Don & Yvonne Hanson. Our many thanks to the Hanson's for opening their home to this wonderful dog!

Companion
Is there anything more satisfying
On a cold, blustery day,
Than a good book,
A hearty fire,
And a soft purring friend by your side?
- Mary Maude Daniels
December 2001 - This Adoption Success Story started out at the Senior Citizens Center. These wonderful kittens were abandoned, left there in a paper sack. Our own Maria Moore took them home, and she and her dog Droopsy, raised them until they were old enough to adopt. Droopsy played a very intregal part in the rearing, as a he cleaned the kittens daily and was in charge of raising them, leaving the nuturing to Maria!! We would like to thank these wonderful people for opening their homes to these adorable felines:
Jan Hueth, Lynn Corder, Roslyn Broadhurst, Jessica/Betty Burns, Mary Potter, Sheri DeJardins

Buddy

Buddy was adopted this month to a head start teacher. He is a three month old lab, Doberman, dashound mix. Buddy is the perfect male companion. He loves to take walks, never complains, and is happy with every situation.

Black Labrador

The Labrador found a loving home with a young girl that had a heart transplant. They are the best of friends.
